This is my favorite bakery in downtown! Vernon the owner is the sweetest guy and greets everyone with kindness who walks in. They have some incredible croissants varying from sweet to savory and there handmade sandwiches are delicious, highly recommend
Wow wow wow! Delicious panini & wonderful owner! Will return for lunch frequently! Pastries all looked delicious and was happy to see they serve espresso drinks as well!
Having traveled to Europe and being of European decent, I can tell you that this place is FRESH and Authentic! We ordered some chocolate croissants for my daughters birthday as well as a sausage egg and cheese croissant. The flakiness and buttery goodness was on point. Make sure to stop by and support their business!
Lil hidden local shop was sooooo yummy. I want 5 of these croissants to take home! I ordered the lunch salad when they weren’t really prepared for lunch as they were probably still serving brekkie. But he was super quick and nice about it. Def worth it

I have been here a handful of times and am always blown away by the kindness of the people there and the flavors of the food. Today, I got to try the strawberry chicken salad and it was out of this world. A uniquely flavored chicken salad with beautiful bed of lettuce and strawberries with cucumber. 10/10 would order again
Everything was great. This man makes real baklava and it's exactly how its supposed to be. He was also very nice and answered all my questions and shook my hand. They don't make em like this anymore. 10/10
Stopped into Here and Abroad in Fredericksburg today and had one of the best deli experiences I’ve had in a long time. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, which honestly made the place feel special the second i walked in. I ordered the turkey sandwich on a croissant and wow… absolutely perfect. Fresh ingredients, packed with flavor, and that croissant was buttery, flaky, and delicious. Exactly what you hope for when you order a deli sandwich, but somehow even better. You can tell this is a place that truly cares about both the food and the people coming through the door. Definitely recommend checking them out if you’re in Fredericksburg.
Both the bacon egg and cheese and the spinach and feta croissants were delicious, wonderful flavor and texture. The bacon was thick and flavorful. The ham and mushroom quiche was flavorful and succulent! They had gorgeous outdoor seating that just felt right. Its a bit hidden but be sure to check it out, we definitely dont want to lose this gem!
